40" x 30" Drawing -- August to September 2020

This pencil drawing will be the starting point for a new print. This is probably better suited to etching but I’m going to do a collagraph, possibly an etching or lithograph at a later time. I included trees in a couple prints and drawings prior to this but I was inspired by a tree I saw while hiking at Hawk Mountain. It fit well with a flooding image I’d been thinking about for a long time.

Now I’m thinking of this as a finished drawing. I might add more later, possibly darker pencil work or pastel but this has all the information I need to start my print.
