China Printmaking Museum

I’ve done several residencies in China, mostly at the Guanlan International Printmaking Base. I was talking with Veliko Marinchevski who was working at the Printmaking Base and he told me about a show at the China Printmaking Museum that included my 2015 print, Northern Sky. It’s called the Sixth Chinese Printmaking Exhibition 2024 and is an exhibition of prizewinners from previous Guanlan Biennials. Veliko sent me some photos. They often pair unrelated prints. I don’t especially like that practice. But in this case they put my print next to a woodcut by my good friend, Praween Piangchompu, so I’m delighted.
